Creating and embedding internal processes that are well defined, accepted and promoted throughout the department, which enables business users to get their answers quickly and to treat business analytics as on-going continuous improvement rather than ad-hoc projects.
Defining standards that ensure relevant content on every platform is tagged to a level which allows us to gather a rich dataset of customer, content and behaviour.
Establishing a formal methodology for recommending improvements to digital products.
Having direct involvement in commercial project bid procedures (RFP’s), as part of a Pre and Post-project analysis framework.
Presenting research findings in both written and oral form to colleagues in smart, compelling and persuasive narratives
Advising senior decision makers on how to use, understand, and evaluate the analytics, data and the decisions to take.
Working with management and marketing teams to develop quantitative and qualitative outputs to better understand the B2B and B2C audiences.
Establishing and chairing regular briefings between teams; driving collaboration and sharing expertise with colleagues working in similar disciplines across the business, championing a Centre of Excellence.
Creating and fostering an environment where data and analytics professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers through taking on increased responsibility and adding value to the organisation.
Managing budgets for 3rd party platforms as determined by Vision and Strategy.
Minimum BA / BS; Master’s degree a strong plus in a relevant field including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Highly professional and presentable, with strong business acumen and excellent oral and written communication skills.
A natural leader - strong client facing skills and the ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts with confidence and in an easy-to-understand manner.Solid experience working in a management or leadership capacity, and a history of building, managing, and mentoring teams.
Proven experience of developing and delivering a data Vision and Strategy; successfully embedding and nurturing it into existing business cultures.
Experience in delivering analytic results working within database marketing, CRM and analytics ideally in a marketing or market research field.
Experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, and data modelling.
Expertise selecting context-appropriate modelling, analysis, and reporting techniques, with hands-on skills with common marketing analytics techniques including: factor analysis, regression/logistic regression, CHAID/decision trees, K-means (clustering), uni-variate analysis (t-test), cross-tabs, time series analysis and others.
A passion for data, and an understanding of how to work with large data sets and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Previous experience of selecting, on-boarding and managing third party vendor relationships.
Planning and management of budgets.
